Where is your association affiliated?

Yetim Ehli Association, is not affiliated with any political or religious organization. Our mission is focused on serving humanity, helping those in need and improving the welfare of our society. We operate with the principles of independence and impartiality, free from all forms of discrimination and respectful of human rights. Our aim is only to fulfill our responsibility to humanity and strive to increase the beauty in our society.

Who does the Yetim Ehli Association help?

Yetim Ehli Derneği, globally victims and those in need regardless of religion, language, race, or sect. In the shadow of disasters, in the scars of wars, in the pain of natural disasters, it provides material and spiritual support to people who have been oppressed, struggling with hunger and deprivation.

Which types of assistance does your General Aid activity cover?

Our General Aid activity covers five main types of assistance: Free Donation, Zakat Donation, Sadaqah, Fidyah, and Fitrah. These donations are used directly to help those in need or to address their needs.

What is the difference between Zakat and Sadaqah?

Zakat, as one of the five pillars of Islam, is an act of worship in which Muslims must give a certain portion of their wealth to the poor and needy once a year. Sadaqah, on the other hand, is a voluntary donation that does not have a specific amount or time.

What is fidyah and for whom is it given?

Fidyah is a donation that Muslims who are obliged to fast but are unable to fast due to a valid excuse, such as health, must give in an amount sufficient to feed one poor person for each day. Fidyah is collected in this context and distributed to those in need.

What is Qurban and why is it sacrificed?

Sacrifice is an animal slaughtered in gratitude for Allah's blessings and in order to draw closer to Him. In the Holy Quran, the incident between Ibrahim (a.s) and his son Ismail (a.s) reminds us of the importance of sacrifice. It is also an expression of sharing, brotherhood and love.

How can I slaughter my sacrifice by proxy with the Yetim Ehli Association?

You can contact us by making your donation to slaughter your sacrifice by proxy with the Yetim Ehli Association. We will deliver this trust to those in need in geographies whose names you do not know.

How is my sacrifice slaughtered?

The sacrifice process begins with the selection of a suitable animal. Association officials make the selection by paying attention to the age, health status and defects of the animal. Then, the slaughtering process is recorded by video while the power of attorney is given. The slaughter is carried out in accordance with Islamic rules.

How can I see the video of my sacrifice?

When the slaughter of your sacrifice is completed, the slaughter video is sent to the shareholders via SMS after it is checked. Thus, you can watch the slaughter process.

Are the health status and age of the animal taken into consideration during slaughter?

Yes, the health status and age of the animal are meticulously checked during slaughter. The officials of our union select the healthy animal in line with the determined criteria. In this selection, attention is paid to the animal's age, health status and the absence of physical defects.
