 YETİM EHLİ ASSOCIATION CHARTER

 

Name and Headquarters of the Association

 

Article 1: Name of the Association:

“Yetim Ehli Association.’’

 

The Association may open branches in Turkey and abroad with the decision of the General Assembly and representative offices with the decision of the Board of Directors.

 

Article 2: Purpose and Activities of the Association

 

The Purpose of the Association:

1. To meet the humanitarian needs of people in need of assistance, regardless of race, language, religion, or sect, both domestically and internationally, who have fallen into distress due to reasons such as war, disaster, etc., including those who have been displaced, refugees, injured, disabled, ill, stranded, hungry, homeless, orphaned, widowed, families of martyrs, and victims of oppression, by delivering necessary aid swiftly,

2. In our financial and spiritual aid activities worldwide, to reach out to those in need by organizing the most effective solutions and values, in collaboration with widespread volunteer and donor networks, along with our coordinators and partners both domestically and abroad, and in cooperation with public institutions and organizations,

3. In line with the responsibility bestowed upon us by our history, to promote and disseminate our civilizational values, historical and religious figures and monuments worldwide; to support education for people from all walks of life domestically and internationally; to support academic research; to establish and support education, culture, and orphan centers, memorization centers, community centers, dormitories, and guesthouses in compliance with regulations; to promote Anatolian wisdom, Islamic civilization, and culture in our country and worldwide; and to proudly wave the flag of our country and ancient civilization around the world,

4. To develop communication and operating systems and artificial intelligence applications that will benefit societies and humanity; to follow and implement information technologies,

5. To establish and promote a sense of solidarity and mutual assistance in societies,

6. To work towards the development of a culture of cooperation, mutual assistance, and solidarity socially, culturally, historically, economically, and morally in Turkey and worldwide,

7. To undertake all necessary initiatives to protect human rights and material and spiritual rights and freedoms internationally; to identify problematic areas and undertake activities to resolve these issues,

8. To engage in food banking activities to provide food, hygiene, clothing, and fuel assistance free of charge to needy people domestically and abroad,

9. To work towards the preservation of the environment and natural cultural assets; to develop practices in agriculture, farming, and halal food,

10. To combat ignorance, necessity, and conflict through science, culture, art, technology, and common civilizational values; to form alliances based on common civilization values,

11. To provide services and mediation efforts aimed at the cultivation of qualified individuals, the alleviation of poverty, and the establishment of peace and alliances among nations,

12. The services aimed at by the association are open to the benefit of everyone and are not limited to association members or to a specific region or group,

13. As a benefit to society, the association engages in activities related to humanitarian aid, education, culture, research, technology, human rights, animal rights, media, health, youth and sports, art, and environmental and nature conservation,

14. The association will allocate two-thirds of its annual income for the public benefit, for the benefit of society.

 

Association Activities:

The Association operates in Turkey and abroad;

 

1. It provides assistance to those in need who have suffered from natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, droughts, and similar catastrophes, as well as those affected by any kind of war or conflict, including refugees, injured, disabled, ill, stranded, homeless, or otherwise disadvantaged individuals.

2. It extends aid to orphans, those in need of protection, widows, families of martyrs, young people in need of education, those in need of healthcare, and people with disabilities, bringing them to Turkey from abroad if necessary to meet their housing and educational needs.

3. It offers both material and financial assistance to students at all levels of education, meeting their needs for housing and other necessities, either through payment or free of charge, both domestically and internationally.

4. It establishes and operates retirement homes, shelters, asylum centers, orphanages, rehabilitation centers, laboratories, hospitals, clinics, dispensaries, mobile medical teams, medical vehicles, medical cabinets, pharmacies, and similar facilities, as well as soup kitchens, slaughterhouses, daycare centers, guesthouses, places of worship, libraries, cultural centers, dormitories, sports facilities, hostels, recreational facilities, tent cities, shelters, logistic centers, social-purpose stores, and any other facilities necessary to fulfill the objectives of the association. It can also establish and operate preschools, secondary schools, colleges, and institutions providing education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as language centers.

5. It accepts both material and financial assistance within the scope of its activities and objectives, collects donations within the framework of legislation, distributes the received donations, and ensures that the collected donations reach needy individuals domestically and internationally, collaborating with domestic and international civil society organizations when necessary.

6. It accepts all kinds of sacrificial donations, organizes sacrificial activities domestically and internationally, and can take sacrificial contributions abroad and collaborate with NGOs in other countries.

7. It purchases real estate, accepts donations, constructs buildings or facilities, leases them out, manages them in accordance with the objectives of the association, and operates them to generate income. It may lease or transfer the right to use and operate its real estate to other institutions, organizations, or individuals, either for a fee or free of charge, when not used or operated by itself. It sells, liquidates, or replaces any movable or immovable property of the association in accordance with the relevant legislation and uses the proceeds in line with the objectives of the association. It auctions or solicits bids for items of historical value, with antique features, or otherwise not suitable for use as aid materials but having a historical value, to be used for the purposes of the association.

8. It applies for, initiates, and carries out campaigns for collecting both material and financial aid under the Law on Collection of Aid and other relevant legislation.

9. It provides opportunities for domestic and, when necessary, international education for the development of the knowledge and skills of its members, employees, and volunteers, and arranges foreign language training as needed. It covers travel and accommodation expenses, travel and meal allowances, and other expenses related to the work and services performed in line with the objectives of the association.

10. It organizes scientific meetings, conducts observations, prepares reports, establishes and operates scientific research, development, and application centers, and provides financial support to individuals or institutions working on these subjects.

11. It conducts audio and visual broadcasts domestically and internationally to introduce and support those in need within the scope of its objectives and activities, and issues press releases. It organizes audio and visual programs related to aid campaigns.

12. It organizes fairs, symposiums, panels, competitions, raffles, solidarity meetings, sports events, and auctions for advertising, promotion, and encouragement purposes. It publishes books, brochures, magazines, bulletins, and similar publications. It arranges for promotional materials and travels. It organizes commemorative nights and concerts. It collaborates with media organizations worldwide and conducts campaigns with domestic and international telecommunications operators.

13. It can engage in international activities or cooperation, open representation offices or branches domestically and abroad, establish associations or umbrella organizations domestically and abroad, or join associations or organizations established domestically and abroad.

14. It collaborates with associations, foundations, or institutions domestically and abroad with similar purposes, supports them when necessary, or receives support from them. It establishes federations, confederations, platforms, unions, and umbrella organizations. It becomes a member of unions, umbrella organizations, and platforms.

15. It collaborates with domestic and international public institutions and organizations, municipalities, private organizations, agencies, associations, universities, foundations, associations, professional chambers, trade unions, federations, and confederations.

16. It conducts cooperation and activities with international organizations such as the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other international organizations, as well as non-governmental organizations (NGO), both domestically and internationally.

Scope of Activities of the Association:

The association operates domestically and internationally in the fields of social assistance, humanitarian aid, solidarity and cooperation, culture, education, health, art, technology, science, communication, sports, youth, search and rescue, logistics, etc.
